Scarborough, ON — SKF Canada has released a brochure for its 2006 reliability maintenance training program from its Reliability Maintenance Institute (RMI). The program includes both general attendance courses as well as specific onsite training courses to match the needs of both students and employers.
Participants in RMI programs have an opportunity to experience theoretical discussions, hands-on training, audiovisuals, lectures and problem-solving discussions.
Courses are offered from March through to December 2006 in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver.
One student who atended SKF’s training courses recently commented, “Likely the most useful off-site training course I’ve attended in 10 years. Very broad range of content scope. So many areas where this information can be applied.”
Another attendee said, “Very good course. Very knowledgeable instructor. Very descriptive in all aspects of bearings. Excellent job in presenting both theory and practical.”
A variety of courses are offered, including: Bearing Maintenance and Service, Bearing Damage Analysis, Practical Application in Bearing Lubrication, Bearing Reliability in Fan Applications, Bearing Reliability in Centrifugal Pumps, Dynamic Balancing for Rotors, Vibration Analysis (Basic and Intermediate Levels), and Bearing Reliability in Paper Machines.
