Michigan City, IN — Rotary screw compressor manufacturer Sullair Corp will celebrate its 40th anniversary this summer with several employee events being planned at the company’s headquarters in Michigan City, as well as at facilities in France, China and Australia.

Several of its 40-year-old compressors are still at work in plants around the world, the company reports.

In 1965, Sullair began manufacturing portable air compressors, and, through R&D, expanded to stationary rotary screw compressors. Today, the Sullair line includes rotary screw compressors, contaminant removal systems, high-efficiency tandem compressors, vacuum systems, contractors’ air tools, and replacement parts and fluids.

Sullair is now a subsidiary of Hamilton Sundstrand, which itself is a division of United Technologies Corp.
