Toronto, ON — According to the Toronto Sun, some people might call Todd Frankland, owner of PPI Modular Structures, Brampton, Ont., a glorified scalper. Others might call him a good businessman.

Yesterday (Aug. 8), he began accepting bids on eBay — starting at $250,000 — for the rights to his season tickets for four platinum seats at Toronto Maple Leaf games at the Air Canada Centre.

It’s not for charity, though. He wants to use the proceeds to help his business, which manufactures partitions used in industry and in offices.

His family has held season tickets since the 1940s, the Sun reports. The bidding on eBay runs until Aug. 18.
