Chicago, IL — The Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA) will hold its second Town Hall Meeting at the PTDA 2005 Industry Summit in Las Vegas, Nev., Oct. 18-21, 2005.
Scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 18, from 5:45 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the Town Hall Meeting is structured as an open forum and designed to:
— Set strategic plan priorities for 2006 and the future
— Assess continuing relevance of and interest in current programs and services
— Evaluate demand for proposed programs and services
— Give less active members a voice in the direction of the association.
More than 70 members participated in the association’s first-ever Town Hall Meeting, held in conjunction with last year’s PTDA 2004 Industry Summit in Orlando, Fla. Feedback from the event was reviewed by the PTDA Board of Directors and Manufacturer Council, and incorporated in a major Member Needs Assessment/Satisfaction Survey, to be conducted in summer 2005.
The agenda for the 2005 Town Hall Meeting will be driven by input from the 2005 survey. Topics in the survey to be discussed at the upcoming meeting include:
— Services requested by customers that PTDA could provide resources to help members develop and/or provide better
— Member companies’ external and internal business concerns
— PTDA’s effectiveness in understanding members’ business challenges, providing useful programs and services, and responding to member needs
— Evaluation of the association’s proposed new programs and services.
The Town Hall Meeting is open to all member companies. For more information, contact PTDA at 312-876-9461 or email@example.com.
