Surrey, BC — A new joint venture, IndustryNetworking.ca, has been established as a way for industry vendors and buyers to meet in simple, low-cost meeting forums — called Networking Days — across Canada.
The first Networking Day will be the BC Industrial Networking Day on Weds., Feb. 9, 2005, at the Sheraton Guildford Hotel in Surrey, BC. Attendees are expected to include engineers, maintenance managers, plant managers and technicians/technologists.
“Our first BC Industrial Networking Day offers a new fresh look and commitment to my clients from my earlier traditional tradeshows that we produced in the lower mainland area,” says co-founder Lee Baker, president of Expo Management Inc. “Our unique approach with the innovative Vendor Forums (30-minute product and service presentations) gives the industrial buyers an opportunity to maximize their valuable time evaluating innovative products and services in the industry.”
Arnie Gess, president of Falcon Ridge Group Inc, and the other co-founder of IndustryNetworking.ca, says, “This is only the start of Networking Days across Canada. We are currently working on establishing many other Networking Days (not just industrial) across the country while partnering with a wide variety of industry associations, trade publications and other private companies.”
