
Three Canadian firms among those added to latest PTDA membership list

Chicago, IL — Three industrial distributors, five manufacturers and two educational institutions have recently joined the Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA).
The new distributor members include Allied Bearing & Supply Inc., Harahan, La., Ontario Bearings & Industrial Supplies Inc., Woodbridge, Ont., and Whisler Bearing Co., Denver, Colo. All joined the association during the third quarter of 2004.
In the third quarter, the association also welcomed five new manufacturer members: Golden’s Foundry & Machine Co., Columbus, Ga., KML Bearing Canada Inc., Mississauga, Ont., NSK Precision America Inc., Addison, Ill., Oiles America Corp., Plymouth, Mich., and ROBCO Inc., LaSalle, Que.
Also in the third quarter, PTDA welcomed two educational institution associate members, Dakota County Technical College, Rosemount, Minn., and Texas A&M University, College Station, Tex.
Founded in 1960, PTDA is a U.S.-based trade association for the power transmission/motion control distribution channel.It represents almost 220 distributor firms with almost 3,000 locations throughout North America and 13 other countries, as well as almost 190 manufacturers that supply the PT/MC industry.
