White Plains, NY — Much of what drives the world and makes it habitable relies on pumps. Yet these millions of pumps, and other fluid handling products that power so much of our lives are hidden from view. Now, a new website allows you to step into the world of pumps to gain an understanding of complete systems in water, wastewater, building trade, bio-chemical/pharmaceutical, power and industrial markets.
The new site reflects the changing makeup and integrated solutions provided by ITT’s fluid businesses, and uses new web technologies and a “simulated environment” design to present visitors with typical fluid handling applications.
By clicking through these simulated environments, guests can drill-down within specific applications to get detailed information. Customers can then click through to the home pages of individual brands to get customer service or sales information.
Located at www.ittfluidbusiness.com, the site provides a view of the relationships between the company’s many brands including Flygt, Goulds, Bell & Gossett, Sanitaire, Jabsco, Lowara, A-C Pump, Vogel, Pure-Flo, Flowtronex, PCI, Robot and many more.
“Because ITT has changed significantly over the past few years, there is a clear need to educate our customers and prospects on the wide range of fluid handling products and services the company provides,” said Bjorn von Euler, director of communications for ITT Fluid Technology. “This site provides visitors a comprehensive bird’s-eye view of how our many industry-leading brands come together to provide total fluid handling solutions for many applications.”
ITT Industries, Inc. (www.itt.com) supplies advanced technology products and services, including: electronic interconnects andswitches; defense communication, opto-electronics, information technology and services; fluid and water management and other specialty products.
