Toronto, ON — Goodyear Canada has announced it will sell its TensionRite II gauge for determining precise belt tension measurements in the Quebec market.

“The TensionRite II tool is now available in French and we have developed the product-related support material to fully serve this market,” said Brad Baber, national marketing manager, industrial products for Goodyear Canada’s Engineered Products Division.

“We have the people and resources in place to support the launch of TensionRite II in the Quebec and French-speaking regions throughout Canada.”

The gauge is a simple device with the ability to sense the right amount of tension required for optimum belt performance. It replaces the so-called “thumb test” or “what feels right” methods that often result in inaccurate tension settings and diminished belt life.
