Syracuse, NY — Cooper Industries Ltd. has appointed Curt J. Andersson as president of its Cooper Crouse-Hinds division, headquartered in Syracuse, N.Y. Andersson replaces Steven L. Sisney, who recently was appointed group president of Cooper’s global tools and hardware business segment.
Andersson joins Cooper Crouse-Hinds from The Timken Company, where he was senior vice-president, industrial integration, responsible for leading the integration of The Torrington Company into the Timken organization. Prior to that position, Andersson served as Timken’s senior vice-president/chief information officer and senior vice-president Six Sigma/lean manufacturing.
Prior to joining The Timken Company in 2000, Andersson was with the General Electric Company. Previously, he was a principal with A. T. Kearney, Inc., and before that was with McKinsey & Company. He began his career as a marketing representative with IBM Corporation.
