Brussels, Belgium — The European Power Transmission Distributors Association (EPTDA) annual convention in Dublin, Sept. 24-26, 2003, featured international experts sharing their views on the topic of consolidation.
More than 200 delegates from over 16 countries exchanged the latest information on the power transmission and motion control (PT/MC) industry in Europe. Participants reported that the event was the best opportunity to access new markets and growth in Europe and to network with other PT/MC professionals.
During the event Antonio Cammany, CEO of Epidor SA in Spain, was elected as the new president of EPTDA, replacing Peter Buydens.
Founded in 1998 and representing over 170 companies in the industry, EPTDA is the largest organisation of distributors and manufacturers of power transmission and motion control products in Europe. The association strives to help its members to be successful, profitable and competitive in the fast changing environment in the PT/MC industry. EPTDA provides its members with the information, education and business tools required to profitably meet the needs of the industrial marketplace.
