Collingwood, ON — The Ontario Bearing and Power Transmission Industry will hold its 25th annual Resort Weekend and Golf Tournament from Aug. 22 to 24, 2003. This year’s festivities will take place at the Grand Georgian, located at the Blue Mountain Resorts in Collingwood, Ont.

“To celebrate this anniversary, more prizes and draws will be available to be won this year,” says Dave Fernay of Renold Canada.

Anyone who is employed in the bearing or industrial power transmission business (distributor, agent or manufacturer) and their immediate family members are welcomed to attend. While most have made a weekend out of it in the past, others have made the return trip to take part in the Saturday activities only.

On Friday night there will be an informal meet and greet social, held on the terrace of the Village Base Lodge. Many attendees will play in the annual golf tournament on Saturday, while others will sightsee or shop. The new Grand Georgian has become a hot bed of shopping and activities, prompting many to stay on site.

The banquet and dinner will be held Saturday evening, where golf prizes and draws will be awarded. The dance will be held right after dinner, and if the weather is good, will take place on the outdoor terrace of the banquet hall.
