Mosport, ON — With the sounds of race car engines whining in the background, Goodyear NASCAR representatives Mike Fine and Mike Gregg shared lessons learned by the company from NASCAR Winston Cup Series development, testing and racing, to a strong turnout from the CASCAR community here June 14, 2003..

Mike Fine spoke to the CASCAR teams about Goodyear’s 50-year history with NASCAR and spoke of “how we work very close with the NASCAR teams. We consider the teams and drivers to be our customers. Racing is a way for us to show Goodyear belts and hose technology and advance our brand,” Fine said.

Mike Gregg provided the CASCAR teams with valuable tips on using Goodyear belts and hose products during race conditions and “a high-speed environment.” He advised the teams on proper installation and monitoring techniques including:

– Tension Measurement
– Pulley Alignment
– Fan Belt Monitoring
– Poly-V belt implementation.
