Memphis, TN — Inventory Locator Service LLC (ILS) has launched ILS MRO Quick Catalogue, an Internet-based searchable catalogue designed for companies that provide maintenance, repair, and overhaul services to the aviation industry.
The product enables customers to offer a professional online catalogue from their websites without having to make large investments in technology. User’s customers and prospects can search the MRO services they provide, make selections, and submit requests for quotes-all online.
Designed to blend seamlessly with user’s websites, the catalogues are actually hosted on ILS servers. The catalogue search fields are customized to the customers’ specifications. ILS MRO Quick Catalogue customers benefit from 24/7 customer support, fully redundant operations, a complete disaster recovery program, current technology, and highly skilled staff technicians and designers.
“We are pleased to offer this new product to the aviation MRO industry,” said Bruce Langsen, president of ILS. “By helping customers offer their services from their own websites, the Quick Catalogue complements many of the other services we have been providing for years,” Langsen noted. “These catalogues will have direct links from a variety of sources within ILSMart.com to further increase their visibility.”
The Quick Catalogue is only one of a suite of services ILS offers for the aviation MRO industry. The other products include an Overhaul Capabilities database and several decision support tools. The ILS Overhaul Capabilities database is an excellent sales and marketing tool for maintenance, repair and overhaul organizations that want to make their service capabilities available to other ILS subscribers. Searchable by part number, this database enables ILS subscribers to locate FAA-approved companies to repair specific items. More than 700 MRO companies list over 1.9 million items that they are authorized to overhaul and/or repair on the ILS Overhaul Capabilities database.
The ILS Overhaul Capability Analyzer and e-Valuator enable MRO organizations to establish supply and demand trends for overhaul and repair services. The Analyzer provides supply and demand information about the most requested MRO services on ILS while the e-Valuator provides supply and demand information for MRO services by part number. Both products include supply and demand information for individual parts, providing U.S. Government procurement information and ILS quote history when available. The Overhaul Capability Analyzer and e-Valuator are valuable research tools that help aviation MRO organizations better understand the market for their services.
ILS subscribers include more than 200 airlines, 60 government procurement sites, and over 700 repair facilities as well as ship owners, ship operators, ship managers, manufacturers, distributors, and re-sellers in 41 countries. Aviation and marine suppliers around the world list over 5 billion parts on ILS databases
Headquartered in Memphis, Tenn., ILS has offices in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region. For additional information about ILS, visit www.ILSmart.com or call 901-794-5000.
