Kitchener, ON — May 7, 2002 — In today’s economic climate, industrial manufacturers are increasingly focusing their spending on MRO maintenance, repair and overhaul, the single most controllable cost in manufacturing today. The Southwestern Ontario Industrial Show (SOIS) features the region’s largest display of products and services for plant maintenance and operations, factory automation, and design engineering.
SOIS returns to Kitchener Memorial Auditorium on Weds., June 5 and Thurs., June 6, 2002.
SOIS is a forum for manufacturers and suppliers of industrial equipment and services, throughout Ontario and across the country, to meet with industrial buying teams and decision-makers from the Southwestern Ontario industrial corridor.
“SOIS is the only local industrial trade show where manufacturing professionals from Kitchener-Waterloo and the surrounding area can source suppliers for all their plant engineering needs,” says Shelley Sougaris, SOIS Show Manager.
Regionally-based manufacturers such as Cutler-Hammer, Moeller Electric, Ingersoll-Rand and Nederman Canada are taking advantage of the opportunity SOIS provides to showcase their products and services for maintenance applications and operational solutions.
SOIS 2002 is sponsored by the Canadian Fluid Power Association and the Canadian Tooling & Machining Association.
Show hours are 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on June 5 and 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on June 6. For more information go to www.reedexpo.ca/southwestern, or call 416-491-7565/888-322-7333.
