Don Mills, ON — Apr. 19, 2002 — The June 2002 edition of Machinery & Equipment MRO magazine will be the 100th since it was launched in December 1985, over 16 years ago. We hope that some readers will help us celebrate the occasion by sending us a short note about how the magazine, or this website, has had an impact on them over the years.

With just six issues a year, it’s taken quite a while to reach the centennial issue. Although the magazine has evolved significantly since its early days, it’s still remains structured on the basic foundation of providing practical, useful information to those involved in the maintenance, repair, operation, building and distribution of machinery and equipment in Canadian industry.

Themes such as mechanical power transmission, fluid power, electrical and electronics, shop operations and maintenance management have been mainstays of our content since Day One. Even Mr. O, the Practical Problem Solver character, has been with us steadily since the beginning, sharing reader’s handy tips and advice.

If you’ve picked up a maintenance tip, sourced a product that solved a problem in your operation by reading the magazine, scanned some advice that helped you in your job, or learned something from peers in our case histories, we’d sure like to hear about it. Even if your source of inspiration was our website, www.mro-esource.com, we’d like to hear about its impact on you.
