Montreal, QC — Apr. 15, 2002 — The Montreal Fabricating & Machine Tool Show (MFAB) will return to Place Bonaventure in Montreal, Que., from Mon. May 13 through Weds. May 15, 2002.
The event is Quebec’s largest marketplace for machine tools, accessories and industrial supplies, and is co-located with National Factory Automation Show (NFAS) — the only show devoted exclusively to plant floor automation and control systems.
Attendees can see operational machinery and equipment, experience live demonstrations of new products, and compare the latest equipment, all under one roof. This year’s event features more exhibit space with more than 350 exhibitors representing some 1,500 products.
A sampling of new products on display include the latest CAD and CAM software, tooling, grinding wheels, and machining centres. Accutronics’ new series of high performance VFDs, Lapp Canada’s newest control cables for both heavy duty continuous flexing and stationary applications, and Mitsubishi Carbide’s new multi-function indexable drill/mill are just a few example of what exhibitors have in store for show attendees.
Show producer Reed Exhibitions has added a feature to the MFAB/NFAS event website to help visitors better plan their time at this year’s show. At www.reedexpo.ca/montreal/ExhibitorList, visitors can use a new search engine feature to easily locate exhibiting companies and products on display. The search engine provides exhibitor listings that include the exhibitor’s MFAB/NFAS booth number, a description of products offered, contact information and a link to the company’s website. The list of exhibitors can also be browsed alphabetically.
Montreal Fabricating & Machine Tool Show/National Factory Automation Show is produced by Reed Exhibitions, with the support of the Canadian Machine Tool Distributors’ Association and the Canadian Tooling & Machining Association.
Show hours are 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on May 13, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on May 14, and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on May 15.
