Toronto, ON — Apr. 10, 2002 — Schneider Electric has appointed Chris Curtis as president of the company in Canada. A Canadian, he formerly was vice-president of marketing for Schneider Electric in the U.S.
“Chris’ cross-functional experience prepares him well for this new assignment,” says Joellyn Willis, senior vice-president, operations, Schneider Electric North American Division.
Curtis replaces Albert Renaud, who has left the company.
Schneider Electric is the world’s largest power and control specialist, with brands such as Federal Pioneer, Merlin Gerin, Modicon, Square D and Telemecanique. Its Canadian presence includes over 1,200 employees in five manufacturing, one logistics and 16 service facilities, and 23 sales offices across the country.
