Edmonton, AB — Dec. 24, 2001 — Spar Aerospace Limited of Toronto has been selected to perform progressive structural inspections and maintenance overhauls for up to nine U.S. Coast Guard C- 130 Hercules aircraft. This program is similar to the progressive structural inspections that Spar performs for the Canadian Forces fleet of C-130 aircraft.
The U.S. Coast Guard aircraft program will be in the range of US $10 million and will be conducted at Spar’s Edmonton, Alta., International Airport facility over the next two years, commencing January 2002.
