Toronto, ON — A half-day seminar on Pre-Start Health and Safety Reviews and compliance with Ontario Regulation 528/00 has been scheduled for Toronto on Weds. Oct. 17, 2001, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
In Ontario, the installation of new machinery or equipment in an industrial facility requires a PSR before the equipment is operated. Without it, companies can be liable for fines under provincial regulations.
Safety expert Simon Fridlyand, P. Eng., of S.A.F.E. Engineering Inc., Toronto, will lead the seminar, which is co-sponsored by Machinery & Equipment MRO magazine. The cost is $240 plus GST per person.
