Mississauga, ON — Fluke Electronics Canada, a supplier of compact, professional electronic test tools, took two out of five titles at the Fluke Intercon 2000 Industrial Distribution Sales Awards.
The awards, honouring outstanding individual and team performance, are handed out by the parent company, Fluke Corporation. The Intercon region comprises 36 countries throughout Central and South America, Asia, the Pacific Rim, Israel and South Africa, and includes Canada.
Eddy Zompa of Montreal took the award for Sales Channel Management/Best Practices for his contributions to distribution planning, distributor growth, effective use of Danaher Business Systems tools and policy deployment in managing and measuring channel partners.
Garvin Stafford of Calgary won the Strategic Account Management Award for his contributions to developing strategic relationships and long-term business results with Alliance Pipeline and the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, securing a major contract for Fluke’s Process Tools and other key Industrial Group products.
Both winners were nominated for the awards by local management and selected from candidates around the world.
Zompa and Stafford were joined by winners from around the world at a special Fluke Awards Weekend, April 5 to 9, 2001 in New Orleans, La.
