May 22, 2001 — Electro-Federation Canada, in partnership with the Ontario Electrical League, the BC Electrical Association and the Alberta Electrical League, has expanded its 2001 Scholarship Program to offer 25 university, college and college/apprenticeship awards valued at $40,000 in the fields of engineering, computer science, business administration and electrical apprenticeship training.
The partnership’s mandate is to attract talented young people by providing scholarships of substantial value to the children, grandchildren and dependents of employees of EFC member companies or affiliated organizations.
Scholarships are awarded for a one-year period, payable in the fall of 2001. Applicants are encouraged to re-apply annually if they continue to meet eligibility criteria. Applications must be received by June 25, 2001.
