May 8, 2001 — Bob Morris, who has represented and managed Diamond Chain in Canada for several years, has accepted a position with Diamond Chain to run the central mid-west district of the United States.
Coinciding with this change, Douglas C. Badenoch, vice-president, sales & marketing, reports that Diamond Chain Company has contracted with Advantage Sales Network to perform the sales and warehousing duties for the company in Canada. This sales agency, with offices in Mississauga and Edmonton, will cover Canada to supply Diamond products and assist customers with sales and service support.
There are other changes coming in the next few weeks and months, Badenoch adds: Diamond Chain products will be shipped directly from Mississauga or Edmonton in June; French language catalogues will be available from Advantage Sales in May; Canadian price lists in Canadian funds will be available in the next few weeks; and quotes and invoices in Canadian dollars will be available early this summer.
