Speakers from Compass Data Centers and Wells Fargo to Keynote at 2015 Critical Facilities Summit

The Critical Facilities Summit (CFS), a conference and product expo designed for mission critical facilities professionals, consulting engineers and design/build firms recently announced its engaging line-up of educational speakers for the 2015 show. These speakers include senior-level decision makers from Compass Data Centers, Wells Fargo Bank, DLB Associates, NVIDIA Corporation and Building Operating Management magazine in the two featured general sessions for CFS 2015.

The Critical Facilities Summit is proud to offer over 35 educational sessions for its attendees, designed to be highly interactive and provide the opportunity to connect directly with both mission critical experts and peers. Two keynote addresses have been developed which focus on the pressing issues raised by professionals in the field.

The opening general session, titled “Aligning the C-Suite Perspective with the Critical Facility Mission”,will be presented by Chris Curtis, Senior Vice President of Developments and Acquisitions at Compass Data Centers, Edward Sullivan, Editor of Building Operating Management magazine, and John McKenna, Data Center Planner and Engineer from Wells Fargo. The presentation will consider the importance of facility management in the board room, demonstrating how a critical facility can function as a core asset to drive overall organizational growth and contribute real value. The session is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Monday, October 5.

The second general session, “I Beg to Differ: Opposing Views on Data Center Facility Management”,will be presented by David Quirk, Vice President and Principal of DLB Associates, Edward Sullivan of Building Operating Management magazine and Bruce Thorpe, Global Lead, Energy & Critical Environments at NVIDIA Corporation. A crowdsourced general session, attendees will use smartphone polling technology to determine the issues and topics to be discussed, incorporating all of the different viewpoints that enter the room. This program begins at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 7. Both informational sessions are a part of the Summit’s Best Practices, Codes and Certifications educational track.

The Critical Facilities Summit will be held October 5-7, 2015 at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. The educational program is divided into 6 tracks that cover a number of current topics:
