Wolseley Canada targets growth in HVAC/R market with new hire

Burlington, ON – Joseph Caranci has been appointed to the position of director of strategy and business development of Wolseley Canada’s HVAC/R business. In his new role, Caranci will focus on driving the company’s HVAC/R strategy, which includes seeking out new business opportunities.

With over 20 years of experience in strategic planning and budgeting, sales and operations management and customer and employee satisfaction, Caranci joins Wolseley from Siemens Canada Ltd., where he held various roles, including area manager for multiple regions, sales business process owner, and Canadian sales manager.

“I am very excited to join Wolseley Canada. The vast experience of the dedicated HVAC/R team creates an amazing opportunity for growth in the industry. I’m looking forward to working with the team, vendors and customers as we grow the HVAC/R business,” said Caranci.

Caranci reports to Akbar Makalai, vice-president, plumbing and HVAC/R and works out of Wolseley’s head office in Burlington, ON, at 880 Laurentian Dr.

Wolseley Canada is a wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC/R), engineered pipe, waterworks, fire protection, pipes, valves and fittings and industrial supplies products.
