Wolseley Canada appoints vice-president of supply chain

Burlington, ON – Chris Swartz has been appointed to the position of Vice-President of Supply Chain of Wolseley Canada. In his new role, he is responsible for the growth and optimization of all supply chain-related functions for the company.

Wolseley Canada is a wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration, engineered pipe, waterworks, fire protection, pipes, valves and fittings and industrial supplies products.

With over 15 years of experience in supply chain operations, Swartz joins Wolseley from Maple Leaf Foods, where he held the role of director of supply chain operations, North America. Prior to Maple Leaf, Swartz served as director of logistics for Walmart Canada.

“I am excited to be joining the Wolseley team, and I am looking forward to being part of its current business plans and ongoing future growth. By working diligently with our partners, we will create and implement supply chain solutions that support our customers’ success,” said Swartz.

Swartz reports to Andy Wighton, chief operating officer, and works out of Wolseley’s head office in Burlington, ON. The company operates about 220 branches across Canada.
