Toronto, ON -- After concluding the MainTrain 2012 maintenance conference in Toronto in November, the Plant Engineering and Maintenance Association of Canada (PEMAC) has announced that the next MainTrain conference will be held in Calgary, AB, at the Sheraton Cavalier hotel Nov. 18-21, 2013.

“In an effort to make MainTrain bigger and better, a few exciting developments are taking place,” says Cindy Sneddon, executive director of the association. “Firstly, PEMAC has made the decision to focus MainTrain as an annual, cross-sector conference focussed on sharing excellence in the theory and practice of maintenance, reliability and asset management. Secondly, we will be hosting meetings of the Global Forum on Maintenance and Asset Management in conjunction with MainTrain 2013. This will bring leading international speakers in the field of maintenance and asset management to the event.

“Finally, co-locating'MainTrain with CMORE's International Maintenance Excellence Conference in November 2012 in Toronto proved to be a partnership that worked very well and got excellent reviews from the participants. We hope that we will be able to continue that partnership and make it even stronger for 2013.”
