DESCRIPTION
Over the last few years we have seen a number of changes in our chosen field. For many years ‘maintenance’ was the term that was used for all of the stewardship of plant and equipment. Then Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) started to take off and this saw the advent of ‘reliability’, or to be more correct – the term ‘reliability’.
In 2014 ISO produced ISO 5500X suite – The Asset Management Systems standard and that term has quickly caught on in our world.
The questions are– what exactly are they, what are the differences, are there differences, how do they fit together?
In this session we will answer those questions and guide you through where each plays a part in allowing your organization to be as successful as it can be, and introduce the concept that MRO is not the responsibility of one or two departments but involves the organization as a whole.
