The new Pulley Partner laser pulley alignment system magnetically attaches to the inside or outside face of any pulley or sprocket and uses reflected beam technology for maximum angular resolution. It can measure long spans with any size pulley. A laser line is projected from the transmitter to a reflector mounted on an opposite pulley. A reference line on the reflector indicates offset and vertical angle misalignment. The laser line is also reflected back to the transmitter’s reference line to show horizontal angle misalignment. No training is needed in its use, says the Canadian distributor.

Belt drive provides more power

The Dodge HT200 synchronous drive belt provides horsepower ratings 200% greater than conventional HTD drives and has all the usual benefits of synchronous belt drive systems, including positive, no-slip drive, lubrication-free operation, corrosion resistance, virtually no backlash, abrasion resistance, and long life. The capacity of the HT200 was increased through improvements in cord technology, and advancements in backing and tooth jacketing materials technology. The belt also features improved tooth contact with Dodge Taper Lock HT Sprocket. Standard widths and nine new lengths are being offered. Further details are available on the company’s PT Wizard CD-ROM.

Funnel transfers liquids into drum without burping

The Pig Poly Burpless funnel allows users to pour liquids smoothly and safely into a drum. They do not have to remove the 3/4-in. bung because the funnel is vented to eliminate the splashing and “burping” caused by air pressure build-up inside the drum. It can be used on any steel or plastic drum with a 2-in. NPT bung opening. The all-poly funnel resists chemicals, rust and corrosion, and its hinged, lockable lid keeps out contaminants.
