Calflo FG, Petro-Canada’s food grade heat transfer fluid, has met registration guidelines for the newly created HT1 category established by NSF International. “Receiving this new category registration reconfirms that Calflo FG meets increasingly stringent food safety standards,” says James McLean, category manager, specialty fluids, Petro-Canada. Calflo FG is formulated from Petro-Canada’s 99.9% pure, crystal-clear base fluids, produced through a patented HT Purity Process and blended with food grade performance additives. It is approved for use in registered food processing plants by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and is certified Kosher and Pareve by Star K.
