Latin America’s biggest metalworking industry trade show. The Mecânica Trade Show (FEIRA INTERNACIONAL DA MECÂNICA) is held every two years. The organizer, Reed Exhibitions, expects 90,000 visitors/buyers who will be in contact with 2,100 national and international brands.
The show receives institutional support from associations such as ABFA (Brazilian Association of the Tools, Abrasives and Machining Industry), Abimei (Brazilian Association of Industrial Machinery and Equipment Importers), Abinee (Brazilian Association of Electrical and Electronics Industry), ABS Soldagem (Brazilian Welding Association) and Sinafer-SP (São Paulo State Trade Association of Iron Items, Metals and Tools in General).
Among new attractions that are free of charge for visitors are the Notable Launches program, the Automation Experience, the Mecânica Auditorium, presentations on Industry 4.0 in partnership with the Harvard Business Review, Innovations in Welding presented by ABS and 3D Printing and Paperless Manufacturing presented in conjunction with SKA. The topic of Energy Efficiency will be explored by CNI – National Confederation of Industries.
