Join the international tribology research community for the 3rd Annual STLE Tribology Frontiers Conference, sponsored by the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers. The Frontiers Conference program highlights the role tribology research can play in solving future scientific, engineering and societal challenges in a variety of fields and disciplines.
The 2015 Frontiers Conference in Denver, CO (USA) earned high marks from participants for the quality of the nearly 150 research presentations. A series of thought-provoking talks dealt with topics ranging from bio-inspired lubrication to the engineering tribology that supports the Mars Rover space vehicle program. This year we will be in downtown Chicago in the historic Drake hotel. The conference will feature more exciting invited speakers, another set of unique presentations in the very popular Cutting Edge of Tribology session, as well as the opportunity to publish in a special issue of Tribology Letters. New for 2016 – added tracks specifically focused on research in tribochemistry and in machine tribology and mechanics.
We anticipate that the conference will again attract tribology researchers from more than 25 countries in North and South America, Asia and Europe.
