Search Is on for Oldest Bodine Motor

In celebration of its 100th anniversary, Bodine Electric Company has announced a contest designed to find the oldest Bodine motor or gearmotor.

There are three categories in the contest, with prizes in U.S. dollars: 1) $1,000 for the oldest Bodine product still doing its job; 2) $1,000 for the oldest Bodine product period — running or not; and 3) $1,000 for the most unusual or unique use of a Bodine motor.

The winners will also receive an additional $1,000 donated to their favourite charity. Contestants can register until June 30, 2005, at Bodine’s web site, www.bodine-electric. com/oldmotor.MRO
