Major steel fabrication firm announces the award of U.S. contracts valued at $133 million

Terrebonne, QC  – ADF GROUP INC., a North American leader in the fabrication of steel superstructures, announced the award of new major contracts in the United States, totalling $133.0 million.

The largest of the contracts awarded to ADF is part of Salt Lake City’s new terminal redevelopment program, and which includes the fabrication, industrial coatings and the steel structures and miscellaneous metals erecting work for the new terminal, two concourses and the airport’s passenger gateway. ADF’s contract also includes the supply of the shop drawings, the design and engineering of connections, as well as the supply of the raw material (steel).  This project, which is characterized by a high volume of tonnage, will entirely be carried out at ADF’s fabrication plant and industrial paint shop based in Great Falls, Montana, USA. The project is scheduled to start in the coming weeks and will extend until the second quarter of ADF Group’s 2019 fiscal year.

The second contract concerns the fabrication and installation of various steel structures and miscellaneous metals for a new building in Miami, Florida. The structural steel will be fabricated at ADF’s Terrebonne complex and the structural steel and miscellaneous metals erecting work will be carried out by ADF’s Steel Construction Services division based in Florida. This project is expected to be completed by December 2017.
