Mississauga, ON — Evan Boere has been appointed operations manager for Timken Canada LP, Mississauga, ON. Boere was previously the company’s business development manager. In his new role, he will have responsibility for corporate-level customer service functions, supply chain and warehousing.
Boere brings a breadth of knowledge to the job, leveraging his numerous years working with the Timken product portfolio and corporate processes, and has had much success with special projects he has worked on in these areas.
“This restructure is an opportunity for Timken Canada to be pro-active in supporting its business plan objectives,” said Frank Mascia, managing director for the company’s business in Canada. “As our front-end continues to strengthen, there is the need for our internal/back-end support to perform at the same level. We will ultimately work closer with our CoLinx facilities to better support our sales performance and continuous plans for year-over-year growth.
In this re-organization, Del Straker will continue in his role as customer service team leader and will be able to spend more time building and developing the customer service team, focusing on internal training and dealing with customer priorities.
Boere and Straker will continue to report to Mascia.
