Sudbury, ON – Konecranes Training Institute plans to hold its Sudbury Area Regional Seminar November 11-15, 2013. Three courses will be offered during the seminar: Rigging Fundamentals, Overhead Crane Inspection and Overhead Crane Inspection Refresher.

The Rigging Fundamentals course on November 11 is designed for personnel who rig loads for lifting by overhead cranes. Floor crane operators and others working with overhead cranes will benefit from the rigging fundamentals course. The tuition fee is $425.

The Overhead Crane Inspection course on November 12 and 13 covers a wide variety of crane configurations. Participants receive a working knowledge of all pertinent regulatory agency requirements. Attendees may participate in an optional written evaluation following the seminar. Those who successfully pass the evaluation will be issued a wallet -size Crane Inspection Certification card, valid for two years. There is no additional charge for this certification. The tuition fee is $1,395.

The Overhead Crane Inspection Refresher on November 15 covers important regulation changes and is a review for past attendees whose Crane Inspection Certification cards are at or near expiration. The tuition fee is $495.

The seminar hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Course workbook, lunches and refreshments are included in the registration fee.
