Las Vegas, NV – IFPE 2014 has issued a second call for abstracts to fluid power industry professionals; they have the opportunity to present their research and applications work to an international audience at the IFPE Technical Conference and the IFPE Innovations Theater.

IFPE 2014 will be held March 4-8, 2014, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV, co-located with the Conexpo-Con/Agg exposition for the construction industries.

IFPE education provides critical information on new power transmission and motion control technologies to engineers and others involved in the design and manufacturing process. The IFPE Technical Conference delivers the latest industry research developments; the Innovations Theater is applications-focused and for the first time will feature abstract-submitted presentations.

The deadline is June 6, 2013, to submit abstracts for technical or application presentations at IFPE 2014.

“We encourage all industry engineers, researchers, educators, scientists and other industry innovators to submit an abstract; it’s their chance to be publicly recognized in a worldwide forum and to share their expertise,” stated IFPE show director Melissa Magestro.

The IFPE Technical Conference focuses on new technologies and methods related to improved analysis, design, manufacture and performance of fluid power components and systems for mobile and industrial markets. Conference proceedings will be published and available at the conference.

The IFPE Innovations Theater examines real-world solutions for current and future design applications.

Topic areas for IFPE 2014 education include fluids (including new and green); fluid power systems; fluid power in renewable energy applications; basic components; controls and control systems; auxiliary components related to fluid power; seals and sealing technology; analysis, modelling and simulation; noise and vibration (analysis, measurement, control); materials and manufacturing (including new and green); impact of Tier 4 and beyond; and standards (industry, national, international).
