Glen Elyn, IL – The Bearing Specialists Association (BSA) has listed the top two reasons to register now for its 2013 Annual Convention in Hilton Head, SC, taking place from Sunday, May 4 to Tuesday, May 7, 2013. 1) You can save on registration by leveraging the early bird rate of $1,275 for distributor members and $1,875 for participating manufacturers, and 2) By registering before January 1, 2013, you can use 2012 dollars for 2013 expenses.
This year’s program will include:
•America’s Uneven Prosperity: What’s Hot and What’s Not (Sunday Morning). Dr. Bruce Yandle, who was associated with Bearings & Drives before launching his academic career, will define the booming global economy and focus on the situation for the much weaker U. economy. He will consider Industries, regions, and states in a search for what’s hot, what’s not, and what’s critically important to the success of bearing distributors. Along the way, he will forecast for US sectors, regions, and industries.
•Top Gun Leadership: Never Fly Solo (Sunday Morning). Waldo Waldman teaches organizations and individuals how to build trusting, revenue-producing relationships with their employees, partners, and customers while sharing his experiences as a decorated combat fighter pilot and businessman. Moving beyond Eric Chester’s discussion about the work force, Ken Hopkins of Koyo will moderate this panel of resources, including the military, academia and private sector, to explore the changing dynamics of today’s workforce and address the all-important questions about attracting and retaining the talent necessary to win in today’s marketplace.
