King of Prussia, PA — Philadelphia Gear, a full-service provider of gearing and power transmission solutions, has appointed James Haldane as regional sales manager for the Western Region of Canada, encompassing the provinces of British Columbia and Alberta.
In this role, Haldane will be responsible for various business development initiatives. Based in Black Diamond, AB, He will service energy customers including coal-fired, gas-fired and hydroelectric power plants; the pipeline industry; the petrochemical sector; the hydrocarbon processing industry; and the mining markets.
Haldane brings nearly 20 years of sales and hands-on experience with rotating equipment and applications. He began his career with Philadelphia Gear Canada in 1983 as a regional sales manager for high speed, special drives, standard gear motors and reducers. Most recently, Haldane served in sales and marketing of power transmission products and services for CPS Gear Technology & Consulting.

Haldane has a Bachelor in Business & Commerce degree from Centennial College of Applied Arts and Technology in Toronto.
