Marco Island, FL — The Bearing Specialists Association (BSA) of Glen Ellyn, Ill.., has elected Cam Lawrence, BDI Canada Inc., Mississauga, Ont., as president of the association for 2007-2008. The election of the new board of directors took place at the association’s annual meeting in Marco Island, Fla., May 4-8, 2007.
In addition, Steve Durston, Jamaica Bearings, was elected first vice-president; Eduardo Bichara, Baleromix S.A. de C.V, was elected second vice-president; and, Ellen Holladay, Motion Industries Inc., was elected treasurer.
Past-president Tom Miller, Motion Industries, Inc. was elected chairman of the BSA board of directors. The association also elected Tom Armold, Applied Industrial Technologies; Doug Savage, Bearing Service Inc.; and James D. Webster, DXP Enterprises, to serve three-year terms on its board.
Those board members continuing to serve BSA in 2007-2008 are: Craig O. Faber, Miller Bearings Inc.; John Timble, Bearing Headquarters Company; Gordon Duncan, Kinecor, Inc.; Craig Gipson, Gipson Bearing & Supply; and Ron Aupperle, IBT Inc.
