Philadelphia, PA — If you are an end user or work closely with end users, here is your opportunity to become a full-fledged participant in the Society of Tribologists & Lubrication Engineers (STLE) Annual Meeting. The event takes place May 6-10, 2007, at the Philadelphia Marriott Hotel in Philadelphia, Penn.

There has been interest expressed in a session titled ‘Practical Solutions — Solving Everyday Lube Problems’ at the meeting. Such a session would have papers that are focused on everyday, ordinary solutions to everyday, ordinary lubrication and wear problems. The technical depth will be targeted to lubrication professionals with a variety of academic and field expertise. The goal is to make sure this segment of the STLE audience will feel comfortable attending and perhaps presenting a paper based on their field experience.

The STLE has the best academic and research based papers by the best and highest educated people in the world. We reach and relate well to the universities and research laboratories, but there is one whole segment of lubrication professionals that we can and should reach: the end users.

Submit your ideas now for practical papers for presentation at the 2007 STLE Annual Meeting & Exhibition. The official abstract submittal date is October 1, 2006. Submissions can be made via the STLE web site: www.stle.org/offer_of_paper/index.cfm. Select the session ‘Practical Lubrication Solutions.’
