Ellmsford, NY — Ultrasound World III, an annual seminar that immerses plant maintenance managers and supervisors, inspectors and technicians in the latest ultrasound detection, analysis and software trends, will take place Nov. 5 – 8, 2006, in Clearwater Beach, Fla.

Being offered for the third time, this year’s event is expected to attract record attendance with its focus on how ultrasound can help reduce energy waste and improve production, leading to increased productivity and cost savings.

By drawing on case histories, speakers from a wide range of maintenance disciplines will discuss how these issues relate to overall company profitability and equipment reliability. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about new innovations in ultrasound technology and how it can be successfully integrated into vibration and infrared inspection programs.

Ultrasound World III will also provide individuals looking to become a Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional the opportunity to take the CMRP test on-site. The qualification exam will be given by The Society of Maintenance Reliability Professionals (SMRP).

A new post-conference program will offer classes about software for Spectral Analysis and Data Management. Attendees will learn how to efficiently store, analyze, trend and report test results for any one of the standard applications such as generic testing, leak detection, bearing inspection, electrical testing, valve and steam trap testing.

Ultrasound World, at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort Hotel, is sponsored by UE Systems Inc., the manufacturer of the Ultraprobe series and continuous on-line monitors for leak detection, mechanical analysis and electrical inspection that solve condition monitoring, energy conservation and predictive maintenance needs. The UE Group of companies also includes UE TrainIng Systems, which offers certifiable courses in airborne ultrasound, and UE Service partners, an affiliation of specially qualified inspection service providers.

For those not familiar with past Ultrasound World events, UE Systems has the past year’s proceedings available for free on its website at www.uesystems.com. The website also provides a complete listing of each session and speaker for this year’s seminar.
