Chicago, IL — The Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA) has welcomed six new distributors and five new manufacturers to its membership roster.

The distributors include A.R. Thomson Group of Surrey, B.C.; Carolina Belting Co. of Taylors, S.C.; McCarty Equipment Co. of Abilene, Tex.; MEP Drives Ltd. of Mississauga, Ont.; Norfolk Bearings and Supply Co. Inc. of Norfolk, Va.; and Reid Entities of Muskegon, Mich., joined the association during the first half of 2005.

PTDA provides distributor members:

– Solutions to grow their business
– Solutions to improve net profitability
– Solutions to strengthen business relationships
– Solutions to improve employee recruitment and retention
– Access to industry trends.

In the first half of the year, the association also welcomed five new manufacturer members: Bonfiglioli USA of Hebron, Ky.; Jason Industrial (Canada) Ltd. of Dorval, Que.; John Crane Power Transmission of Houston, Texas; The Ralphs-Pugh Co. Inc. of Benicia, Calif.; and SEW-Eurodrive Inc. of Lyman, S.C.
