Greenville, SC — Datastream Systems Inc. has named Alex Estevez as president. He has served as chief financial officer for the past six years.
Under Estevez’ leadership, Datastream returned to profitability, generated 16 consecutive quarters of positive operating cash flow, eliminated all company debts, and increased cash balances from less than $10 million to over $47 million.
“In a relatively short period of time, Alex has significantly improved the financial strength of our company,” said Larry Blackwell, chief executive officer and chairman of the board.
In a related move, Datastream promoted Brad Stevens to senior vice president of global operations. In addition, Larry Blackwell, who previously held the position of president, remains as chairman and chief executive officer.
Datastream provides enterprise asset management solutions, including CMMS software, to industry. Organizations like Pfizer, Smucker’s, Miami-Dade County and ChevronTexaco use Datastream 7i to manage and maintain all of their capital assets and MRO inventory and procurement.
