Bonita Springs FL — By December, you’ll probably be ready for a break from the cold weather. It turns out there will be an opportunity to warm up your body and your mind. The 19th International Maintenance Conference takes place Dec. 5 – 8, 2004, in Bonita Springs Fla., at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point hotel.
It is an event where maintenance and reliability professionals learn from each other through a series of informative learning sessions, short courses, benchmark sessions, networking opportunities and a wide selection of full day workshops. The theme of the conference is “Mastering The Maintenance Process.”
Participants will discover new ideas and learn helpful techniques for maintenance and reliability, predictive maintenance and condition monitoring, and maintenance basics like prioritizing, planning and scheduling work.
There will be more than 50 speakers in five “how-to” learning zones, and 10 full-day workshops. There are plenty of opportunities to network with people who have to solve the same issues you face on a daily basis. The learning zones include: Reliability Learning Zone, PdM/Condition Monitoring Zone, Maintenance Basics Zone, Maintenance Management Zone, and Technology & Techniques Zone.
In addition, IMC-2004 offers two opportunities to sit for the new Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) Exam offered by the Society of Maintenance & Reliability Professionals certifying organization.
IMC-2004 is co-sponsored by the Institute of Industrial Engineers, Maintenance Technology Magazine, MaintenanceResources.com, Maintenance Journal (Australia), Maintenance & Asset Management Journal (United Kingdom), CMMScity.com, Tribology & Lubrication Technology, and Lubrication & Fluid Power Magazine.
