Grapevine, TX — The Emerson Global Users Exchange is a non-profit organization chartered to provide a forum for the free exchange of non-proprietary information among the users of Emerson products and all divisions of Emerson Process Management. Membership is open to all users of Emerson Process Management products.

The backbone of the Emerson Global Users Exchange is the wealth of knowledge and experience shared by users during its annual conference. In October 2003, 1,200 members of Emerson Global Users Exchange gathered for a week-long conference filled with general sessions, workshops, round tables, short courses, hands-on technology exhibits and opportunities to network. It is this open sharing of information in many formats that makes this a true users group.

Plans are well underway for the 2004 conference, to be held in Grapevine, Texas, from Oct. 25 to 29. Users are invited to consider sharing their implementation successes, tips and tricks, proven project methodologies, or best practices, by presenting a paper at this year’s conference.

Conference registration fees will be waived for presenters who submit their final PowerPoint presentations by Aug. 15, 2004. The most outstanding presentation for each track will be awarded Best of Conference with a formal presentation of the award at the conference.

Open registration for the 2004 conference will begin on June 1. For further information, visit the Emerson Exchange website, www.emersonexchange.org.
