Cambridge, ON — The Canadian Tooling & Machining Association (CTMA) has planned a seminar on Bill C-45 – Concerning Health & Safety Issues Under the Criminal Code. The legislation requires an employer or supervisor to ” take every precaution reasonable in the circumstances for the protection of a worker.”
The seminar is set for the afternoon of June 16, 2004, 1-4 p.m., at the Ciociaro Club, 3745 North Talbot Road, Windsor, Ont.
The session will be presented by Lori Nicholas of Nicholas & Associates Safety Consulting Inc. and is open to all members of CTMA and the Canadian Association of Moldmakers (CAMM), as well as non-member companies.
Lori Nicholas has recently been appointed to the position of coordinator of the CTMA Safety Groups’ program in Windsor.
