Vancouver, BC — Igus Inc. of Concord, Ont., has opened a new sales office in western Canada so that customers from Newfoundland to British Columbia can have direct access to the company’s plastic cable carriers, plain and linear bearings and continuous flex-cables, as well as increased service and support. The new office is located in Vancouver.

Terry Cox, regional sales manager for Igus, is managing the western office, which will serve customers from Manitoba to British Columbia.

Igus reports it has strengthened its Canadian presence during the past few years. The number of Canadian sales representatives has nearly doubled. The company now has a warehouse facility in Concord which eliminates customs delays with shipments from U.S. facilties, and reduces shipping costs.

The new office is located at 1270 Burnaby St., No. 106, Vancouver, BC V6E 1P5. The telephone number is 604-893-8448.

Igus Inc., whose parent firm is based in East Providence, R.I., offers more than 28,000 products.
