Mississauga, ON — Dec. 18, 2002 — NSK Canada Inc. has named William A. (Bill) Childers as president and chief operating officer, effective Jan. 1, 2003. He will succeed Terry Quinn, who is retiring as president on Jan. 31, 2003.

Over the past 14 years, Terry Quinn established NSK’s strong presence in the Canadian bearing and power transmission industry. Prior to that assignment, he served as president of Superior Electric, a division of Danaher. Other significant career experiences include various executive sales and marketing positions at Colfax Power Transmission, Kaman Industrial Technologies and Emerson Power Transmission. His education accomplishments include a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University as well as a Masters in Business Administration from Syracuse University.

With more than 30 years experience in the industry, Childers is expected to make an immediate and important contribution to the continuing success and growth of NSK Canada.
