Mississauga, ON — Feb. 28, 2002 — The NTN Team Program Rolling Bearing Application and Maintenance Seminar, a comprehensive, 3 day course on the design, application and maintenance of anti-friction bearings, will be held at the Mississauga, Ont., head office of NTN Bearing Corporation of Canada, May 13-16, 2002.

Staffed by NTN engineers and senior technical service representatives, the workshops have been selected to highlight common maintenance problems which result in premature bearing failure.

The seminar is designed to familiarize maintenance mechanics with the fundamentals of bearing failure analysis, bearing installation, handling, storage, shaft and housing fitting, and bearing lubrication. The program is structured so that it is not specific to any industry.

Participants will be encouraged to submit a troublesome bearing problem from their operation for group discussion. Analyses will be performed by the NTN Engineering Team and the results presented to the class as case studies. Class size is limited to 15 students. The seminar fee is $995 (Canadian funds) per student.
