Kingston, ON — Jan. 25, 2002 — Unilink has been appointed as the exclusive representative for NrnbergMesse trade fairs in Canada. NrnbergMesse is home to more than 40 sector-focused trade fairs annually.
The average total growth of all national exhibitions in Germany for 2000 over 1999 was 3% for exhibitors overall, and 4.5% for international exhibitors. NrnbergMesse had a growth of 16% and 25% respectively for the same time period.
The appointment of Kingston, Ont., based Unilink is seen as a commitment to, and recognition of, Canada as an important global trading nation. Many Nrnberg events are a natural fit for Canadian export sectors, according to the Nrnberg Trade Fairs organization.
There are 1.4 million trade fair visitors to Nrnberg each year.
Events include the international exhibition and congress for powder coating technology, a trade fair for machinery, equipment and supplies for woods crafts, a show for sanitary, heating & air-conditioning equipment, an international trade fair for used machinery and equipment, an international event for metalworking, a congress for electronic procurement processes, and an international exhibition and conference on power electronics, intelligent motion and power quality.
